I have been so busy lately I barely remembered my name. If I am lucky there will be good news later on. It seems like I did some usable soundrecording. If I even get to do the rest of what I originally planned for the film, it might even sound good enough to send out on filmfestivals if they accept it.

Next week I will be in Valdres. I have prepared myself for what I am focusing on learning this time around. It basically involves getting stuff to work as it should. Will need to go through it all over and over on friday and saturday. Sometimes you need OCD even if you don’t have it.

This week I have slept a lot. Except from sleeping I have been mentally preparing for a long week in Valdres, and one weekend in Stjørdal. The part where I go to Valdres involves a lot of thinking about how to make good (but efficient) sound that supports the script. The part where I go to Stjørdal is for personal stuff with friends.
When it comes to sound on location I tend to have an enormous amount of stuff yet to learn, so this time I hope to be well prepared. Going from Valdres to Trondheim is the difficult part, but I strangely enough found a solution that involves flying to Oslo first (They actually have an airport near Valdres !?). Going by train takes so long I won’t get anything out of the first day. Also the corresponding last train might even leave too early from Lillehammer for me to finish what I am up to that friday.
Anyhow, I am seriously considering taking up chess as a hobby again. I just hope I got time to do just that now and again.

This weekend has mostly been pure relaxation. I should visit Haugesund more often. Some really awesome people live there.
Apart from that I have been assigned to a documentary team for the first exam movie of this semester. I only got one film to concentrate on, so I will do my best to make it sound just perfect.
The director of this movie seems to be determined to make the team work socially. I approve of his methods. As a team we should be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally so that our filming becomes more efficient.
On my part I will have to practice on my useful nagging (because I sometimes am afraid to ask even if it is important). Also I will need to practice on trusting my instincts and not always take the easy way out. Plan on taking time to rig stuff. Plan backup plans if everything fails. Make sure I am prepared for everything.
I should make a list of stuff I need to learn during this production.
Today I have mostly been annoyed by certain people who decided to tell me what I am like. Most of the time because I am stupid enough not to be an atheist, because according to some people, non-atheists are stupid. The rest of the time I got lectured for thinking I am better than anyone (I am not, by the way).
More open atheists are okay as they see beyond the black-white surface. They can see that “Hey! Her being religious does not mean she is an extremist in that manner”. I am not to convert people as my beliefs are way off the regular stuff. Also my beliefs are for personal use only. They keep me sane.
Also I am looking forward to the next project I will be working on. I hope it is done better than the thing I did last time (I was very clumsy). I will know what project I will be working on soon too. This time I might be making a list of stuff I need to learn. Long list. Very. Long. List.
